Blasting is the process which strips products down to the bare metal in preparation for priming and top coating. The blasting process is the foundation upon which your quality paint job is applied. QPC is equipped with 4 large blast bays, usually utilizing sand, an extremely efficient and effective method of blasting. Each of the bays are also able to utilize the unique capabilities of other media such as steel shot and alumina oxide, or even specialty media such as soda
or walnut shell for your more delicate blasting operations. The large bays facilitate movement for small parts to large military and commercial-sized vehicles, helping to produce an evenly-blasted product in a minimal amount of time.
For components and small parts, QPC is equipped with a tumblast machine called a Wheelabrator. Workpieces are continuously tumbled during a steel shot blasting process resulting in a high-performance, speedy and complete cleaning of small parts. The steel shot inside the machine is recycled, extending the life of its usefulness.
Also equipped with large wash bays, QPC has high pressure and steam facilitated degreasing capabilities. Four 3200 PSI power washers
